The Empire of the Isles
A half-elf. Rough around the edges
TreeDweller, as he is known to his companions, is a half-elf druid that was raised in near isolation.
His father, a human, was saved from drowning in Farengar Forest on the mainland Endan by an elf druid who happened to be nearby. After being nursed back to health by this kind stranger of the wood, he gave up his life as a merchant to pursue the more simplistic existence of a Druid. After a year of learning from the forests inhabitants, surviving the harness Farengar Forest and Farengar Mountains, he met TreeDweller’s mother, an elf who had been raised in the druidic ways. She was fiercely independent, but was swayed by the wit and charm of the human newcomer. The two of them spent much time exploring the forest and interacting with the wildlife. Due to the nature of druidic life, TD often was raised by one parent at a time. Both his mother and father spent equal time teaching and raising him, but often found their wanderlust an insurmountable obstacle and wound head off on an adventure.
TD spent many days hiking, tracking, and interacting with the local wildlife; befriending many creatures. His natural senses were honed to a fine point throughout his youth although his social graces leave much to be desired. He tries to fit in with members of society, but often fails. None-the-less he continues his pilgrimage in order to see the outside world and learn all he can about the many things his childhood did not prepare him for.
